Come along for a personal encounter with some of the Centre’s raptors.
Available most days to a select few (a maximum of four participants);
- meet one or two of our beautiful raptors, which could be owls, hawks or falcons or a vulture (in which case you also meet Betty the fibreglass sheep!)
- observe the birds close up and see their feeding habits
- find out from the bird team about the crucial role raptors have in the ecosystem and
- have the birds fly to your fist for a photo opportunity.
Spectators (family and friends of participants ONLY) are welcome to watch the Encounter from the display arena seating area (no extra charge).
This encounter must be prebooked, is available most days Easter to mid-October at 3.15pm (subject to availability) and lasts around 30 minutes. Participants should meet at the Owl Garden Tearoom at the entrance to the Centre.
